Old Meadow Trail

The Old Meadow Trail which is 5/8 mile in length starts at the information bulletin board and goes west along Hagerty Road, then north along a fence row and joins the Kettle Lake Trail near Stage's Pond.  The trail is a mowed walkway through wildflowers, multiflora, and trees.  The walkway is a combination of white clover and Back Medick which gives you the impression of walking on a green, white and yellow carpet.  You will have opportunities to observe rabbits, pheasants and several species of birds while walking this trail.  There are several varieties of butterflies, dragonflies, and damselflies in the wildflowers and fields adjacent to the trail.
