Welcome to Stage's Pond State Nature Preserve located at 4792 Hagerty Road, Ashville Ohio, Pickaway County

This web site is provided by Tim, who is a volunteer at Stage's Pond State Nature Preserve.  The purpose of this site is to bring the history and unique beauty of Stage's Pond to everyone as I experience it when I am at Stage's Pond.  The early morning walks on the nature trails or assisting the Preserve Manager allow me to enjoy the preserve in its pristine state.  This web site does not begin to describe all the natural treasures that lay within the preserve boundaries; hopefully it will encourage you to visit Stage's Pond State Nature Preserve.  There you can enjoy the beauty of a Kettle Lake, a White Oak forest, watch the waterfowl from the observation blind, or catch a glimpse of the white tail deer. A diverse population of birds can be observed in the preserve and the wildflowers add brilliant color to the nature trails.
